Yearnings
Even when I loved Connecticut and it felt like the best place in the world to me, I do not believe I yearned for it in the way that I now yearn for Brighton. It was a love that - as far as I remember - stayed, most of the time, at the back of my head.
It is the yearning feeling that worries me. For it seems that it is likely, at some level at least, to lead to anticlimax and disappointment. I am wondering if there is something I should perhaps be doing right now in attempt to immunize myself against such disappointment....
