The Nomadic Lifestyle
So far in 2004 I have:
~ Done Vegas.
(Although without the gambling. I refuse to gamble on the grounds that all casinos are rigged in their own favor. Although that doesn't make a lot of sense actually, considering that I am quite happy to play penny falls on Brighton pier...)
~ Taken a small plane around The Grand Canyon and over the Hoover Dam.
~ Been stranded at Portland International airport in the snow and appeared on the news eating a courtesy Krispie Kreme doughnut whilst lying in a khaki Salvation Army blanket.
~ Visited Texas.
(Although actually, the lengthy stop-over at Houston airport on the flight I finally got out of Portland on after three days, probably doesn't strictly count....)
~ Smoked a joint in the back of an old car in NYC with Catherine and some friends of her's.
(My Brighton friends will be shocked! This is so not the kind of thing I do. In fact I am not even sure they will believe me).
~ Been around Toys 'R Us with Allie, Catherine and Renate! This was definitely the best thing so far.
And now I am in Connecticut. Really this should be called 'Diary Of A Nomad', not 'Pic-N-Mix'.
