Mount Hood
Do you recognize this picture? (You probably don't, it's not a very good one). It is The Overlook Hotel from 'The Shining'. After the movie I thought it might be a little scary but it really wasn't at all.
Amelia and her family have suddenly become a big part of my life and I went with them this weekend to Mount Hood (yes, the hotel is really in Oregon not Colorado).
The amount of snow was incredible. I skied - really properly for the first time - and rode with Amelia in her sled while her Dad pulled us. Then she and I built a snowman and gave it a carrot for a nose.
